RESPONSIBILITY ON THE TEAM
Clay Driggers is a member of the Land Group, partnering with Dee Smith in the
analysis and marketing of unimproved land. His specialties include the technical
analysis of land, property valuation, and preparation of marketing plans. He
is also involved in traditional real estate development, with an emphasis on master-planned
residential properties.
CAREER SUMMARY
Clay has been building his experience in civil engineering, land use planning,
and real estate development consulting since 1994. Prior to joining Grubb &
Ellis|The Furman Co., he was a project manager for a local engineering and surveying
company. Clay was also a principal in several Greenville-based firms that were
responsible for land development consulting and developing single-family residential
properties and master-planned communities.
EDUCATION
Clay has received a BS in Civil Engineering degree from Clemson University.
PROFESSIONAL COURSES, AFFILIATIONS, INTERESTS
Clay is a registered Professional Engineer in South Carolina, North Carolina,
and Georgia. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, Realtors Land
Institute, Greenville Home Builders Association, Greenville Chamber of Commerce,
and works with several local non-profit agencies. He is also a CCIM (Certified
Commercial Investment Member) candidate.
Clay is married and has two children. He enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities
and playing golf.
