Craig serves as a member of the Retail Group, specializing in landlord/tenant
relations, site acquisition, and asset disposition. Craig has extensive experience
in land development and brokerage.
CAREER SUMMARY
Before joining the Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. team; Craig built his experience
with companies such as JP Morgan Mortgage Capital, Real Estate Finance Group in
Atlanta, GA; Smith, Scott & Associates of Charlotte, NC and Tidewater Construction
Corporation in Norfolk, VA.
Since joining The Furman Co. he has closed transactions in over 20 markets across
the nation with corporations such as Ryans Restaurant Group and Tire Center LLC.
Locally, he has worked with retailers Dunkin' Brands, Tony Roma's and The Spinx
Company.
EDUCATION
Craig earned a Masters of Business Administration; concentration in Real Estate
& Finance, from Terry College of Business, University of Georgia, Athens,
GA. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from North
Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC.
PROFESSIONAL COURSES, AFFILIATIONS, INTERESTS
Craig is a licensed Broker in North Carolina, Georgia and South Carolina and
is actively pursuing his CCIM designation. He currently serves as the Young Leaders
Chair for the Upstate Chapter of the Urban Land Institute and is actively involved
with ICSC. He has been involved with fine organizations such as Habitat for Humanity,
Young Life and Meals on Wheels.
Craig is married, enjoys golf, college athletics and is a member of Grace Church.
