RESPONSIBILITY ON THE TEAM
Heather serves as a member of the Retail Group where she specializes in landlord
and tenant representation, acquisition and disposition of properties as well as
investment sales. She assists clients in developing and implementing real estate
plans that are specifically designed to complement their business.
CAREEER SUMMARY
Heather comes to Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. with over 5 years of sales
and leasing experience gained from working with office, retail and investment
properties in the Northern Virginia area and continues to hold an active Virginia
license. She is currently developing her expertise in the Green Building and
Sustainable Development field. Heather plans to pursue her LEED AP status, as
well as her CCIM designation in the near future. She is currently in the Grubb
& Ellis Foundations for Success program.
EDUCATION
Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Intermont College in 1999.
PROFESSIONAL COURSES, AFFILIATIONS, INTERESTS
Heather is currently the vice chair of the United States Green Building Council
(USGBC) SC Upstate Branch and is very active in helping to promote buildings that
are enviromentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work
here in the Upstate. She is also a member of the International Council of Shopping
Centers (ICSC) and several charitable organizations including the EarthWatch Institute.
Heather is an avid equestrian enthusiast. She also enjoys traveling, hiking,
camping and most other outdoor activities. Heather is a member of Newspring Church. |
