RESPONSIBILITY ON THE TEAM
John P. Scott serves as vice president of the Industrial Services Group, where
he is responsible for the sale and leasing of warehouse and plant facilities throughout
upstate South Carolina including industrial and investment properties.
CAREER SUMMARY
John joined Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. in 1991 and has over 30 years in
sales and marketing, over 15 years have been in the industrial real estate industry.
Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co., John served as a General Sales
Manager for 10 years in a broadcast communication company.
EDUCATION
John has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Administration from Furman University.
He has also completed numerous hours of graduate-level coursework as part of his
SIOR and CCIM achievements.
PROFESSIONAL COURSES, AFFILIATIONS, INTERESTS
John has earned the CCIM designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate
Institute and the SIOR designation from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
John has also earned The Top Producers award consecutively from 2000 through 2005.
John has served as past president of the Executive Association of Greater Greenville
and a graduate of Leadership Greenville. He is also involved with the Downtown
Greenville Sertoma Club. John is married and has two children. He enjoys boating,
scuba diving and golf. |
