RESPONSIBILITY ON THE TEAM
Tommy serves as a member of the Office Group where he specializes in Landlord
and Tenant representation and acquisition and disposition of office properties.
He assists clients in developing and implementing straegic real estate plans that
are specifically designed to complement their business. Tommy has proven experience
with landlord and corporate representation.
CAREER SUMMARY
Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. in 2006, Tommy served as a
Property Manager for Ryan's Restaurant Group, Inc. He was responsible for managing
a portfolio of 300+ Ryan's Family Steak Houses and Fire Mountain Restaurants in
23 states primarily located in the Midwestern and Southeastern United States.
During his tenure at Ryan's, Tommy directed the sale of more than 12 million dollars
of excess real estate.
Tommy began his career in commercial real estate as an intern in the research
department of Grubb & Ellis|The Furman Co. After his graduation from Clemson
University, he served as an Assistant Proeprty Manager with the company managing
a portfolio of 32 office, retail, and industrial properties totaling 1.8 million
square feet.
EDUCATION
Tommy received a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from Clemson University
with an emphasis on Real Estate.
PROFESSIONAL COURSES, AFFILIATIONS, INTERESTS
Tommy is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Of the estimated 125,000
commercial real estate practioners in North America, less than 9,000 currently
hold the CCIM designation. He has also successfully completed the Grubb &
Ellis University Foundations for Success Program. Tommy is a member of the South
Carolina CCIM Chapter and the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors. Tommy
is married to Emily Molin. He is a lifetime resident of the Upstate and enjoys
golf, fishing, scuba diving and traveling. |
