PHASE 1 -  UNDER DEVELOPMENT

ADAPTIVE MIXED-USE PROJECT

 WEST VILLAGE OF GREENVILLE

COMING SOON - 566 Perry Avenue

Redevelopment in the heart of the Village of West Greenville

Positioned in the heart of the Village of West Greenville, SC (“The Village”), Furman Development intends to redevelop 556 Perry Ave into a place of economic vibrancy for area business and residents alike.

Dating back to April 12, 1946, the property at 556 Perry Avenue originally served as the office, yard, and warehouse for Poe Hardware and Supply Co . Poe relocated from their downtown Greenville Main Street location in pursuit of affordable space to support expansion. Many decades later with the rise of cost of business in downtown Greenville, many businesses are once again in search of more affordable options. Furman Development’s planned investment of this adaptive reuse project will deliver a through and complete renovation of the existing property; bringing economic vibrancy, meeting the community of West Greenville’s existing and changing needs.

Situated between two historic textile mills, Brandon and Woodside, and just 2 miles from downtown, The Village of West Greenville is Greenville's textile mill village-turned-arts-district. The neighborhood formerly known as the Pendleton Streets Art District which was once a haven for below market artist studios and retail space, is now transforming into a culturally rich and creative neighborhood full of historic character and charm.

The Village combines a locally curated mix of creative and traditional businesses, offering the surrounding community a healthy array of food, entertainment, business services and educational resources.  There are over 60 businesses featuring art galleries, retail stores, coffee shops, restaurants and loft apartment options.
