As many across the nation remember the life of Rev. Jesse Jackson, our Greenville, South Carolina studio holds a special connection to his story. Born in Greenville, Rev. Jackson returned in 2017 to help dedicate the Martin Luther King Jr. Historical Commemorative Marker outside of the historic Claussen Bakery building, two years after McMillan Pazdan Smith renovated the building as our architecture studio. As we reflect on his passing, we’re grateful to have been part of this moment in his far-reaching legacy.
