United Community Bank Corporate Headquarters

Furman is excited to assist United Community Bank with this significant addition to the city of Greenville’s skyline. Our development team has spent countless hours with the community and city staff working to refine program and presence in such important environs. Located at 200 East Camperdown Way in Greenville, United Community Bank’s new facility will serve as the company’s corporate headquarters and will also house a retail branch.

Following several years of growth in South Carolina, United announced its intent to name Greenville as its corporate headquarters in February of 2021.

United established a presence in Greenville in 2012 and opened its first permanent branch in the area in 2015. The bank continued to grow across the state through a mix of acquisition and organic growth in the Upstate, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and most recently, Columbia. Today, the bank has more than 600 employees in South Carolina and more than 290 in Greenville County. As part of the announcement in February, the bank shared plans to add an additional 227 employees to its corporate headquarters over the next several years.

Furman as developer is assisting United to construct the proposed 117,000 square foot, 7-story Office building with a 154-space Parking Garage with 16 on-grade parking spaces. The building will house 314 employees and will be the corporate headquarters for this southeastern based  financial institution. Construction completion will happen near the fourth quarter of 2024.
